The new RS6 with 700BHP + will be stupid fast. That's only te first of the maps once developed a bit more will be getting more power etc. But I think personally new RS6 with 700+bhp not many things that will touch it. drove the standard one and it was very fast indeed. Although my C6 750bhp in top end is quicker like doesn't stop pulling, the new Rs6 is just as quick in take off quicker but in top end seems to not climb as fast but I'm sure a map will sort that out. Also not forgetting it's down 220bhp on my car. Unreal car nonetheless.

IF only they kept the V10 or a new V12 for the C7... now that would be THE car.
Too much power is barely enough.

Never going to happen. The move is going to be downward from here. Just look at F1.

The V8 is perfectly adequate, it has moved things on from the C6's V10.

I know it's never gonna happen for Audi. I'm not so sure that the V8 plant is a moved on approach from the V10.

Look at Lambo and Ferrari, they're still chucking out V12's.

For how long? Aventador is the last V12. Others will follow.

The C7 has moved things on, it's lighter, more nimble and has a better overall drive package. The engine is part of that. Lighter and better specific output.

It'll be a good to put them two on a strip to see the result for stock and tuned.

Tuned and standard C7?

The new D4 S8 Is doing the 1/4 mile in 10.X tuned to around 600. That's what a 850BHP C6 stripped out or the Sportmile 1050BHP one is doing!

Sport mile car is doing it low 10's not high might even be lower now their deep in tuning. That mtm c7 will run mid 10's, we all know mtm is always very cautious with their tuning so I'd expect a low 10 soon enough from someone else. The c7 is leaps and bounds ahead of the c6 if you go like for line

True for the C7 vs C5, but not vs C6.
Any performance advantages of the C7 vs C6 would be due to the slightly less weight and the quicker box with better launch control.
But once on the move, the C6 raw peak power would have the advantage.

By that time C6 will have run out of fuel.

I'm still not convinced, I think it'd take a very long run for C6 to overcome the difference.
