You clearly pointed out that your C5 RS6 was "pants".

Now I understand! Yes that was when I owned a bog standard RS6 4-5 years ago, hated it hence the feedback. Bearing in mind I owned a 600bhp evo before I got the RS6 in question. My current RS6 is far from standard, now have a family, and require different things ha ha ha. Otherwise I wouldn't of purchased my current RS6.

Fair enough.
The RS6 looks like a beautiful car and looks like you and the previous owners have maintained it to a very high standard indeed.
I was surprised it wasn't snapped up quicker. Did you have a lot of enquiries?

A fair bit, market is very limited though and with Xmas around the Corner I was expecting 4 weeks. Maybe it was to cheap? Who knows, going to a good home so pleased about that.

First things first; the power. Not as immediate as I would have thought, it's obviously fast as **** but it didn't feel rapid, like an Evo FQ400 does.

The ride was pretty decent even in sport mode, in fact in it's comfiest mode it was like being in my S211!

Gearbox was smooth in auto but not as quick as I would have liked when using the flappy paddles, maybe it's because I'm a bit out of practice....

Steering and handling felt sharp, just as you would expect, you certainly couldn't tell that it was four-wheel drive.

Last but not least; the noise. And what a noise it is! It sounded like thunder when you opened the taps, I couldn't stop grinning!
I have the complete opposite views of this bloke.

Doesn't feel as rapid as an Evo because the Evo is built out of crap, dismiss this point. I'm not used to Jap build/interiors.
Gearbox, slow? No way...
Handling, sharp? It's not bad considering the size but it isn't 'sharp'
Noise? It has never sounded good unless you're standing outside and it's doing it gear change fart.
Ride decent in Sport mode? More like unbearable.

It's like he's gone deliberately out of his way to put the opposite of everything the V10 RS6 is.

Ha ha ha yeah was a <beep> comparison. A lot of people compare there skylines, evos etc to RS6s, M5s, and AMGs. Thing is they are missing the point! 5 people, suitcases, aircon, cruise set at 90mph and they still won't flinch. I was the same when younger.
