RS3 saloon, a rendering

Post by Noyjatat » Tue May 28, 2013 4:24 pm

I have to admit I love the proportionality of this rendered image and if it came out looking like that may finally be tempted away from my beloved B7.

That is rather tasty! Even tougher maybe, can't really call it from a side shot.

Looks like they've made all four wheels same size this time . And hopefully exhausts either side of bumper..

The current S3 has quad exhaust so I can't imagine the RS3 having exhaust just one side. Guessing it will be twin ovals as the current S4 has quads and the RS4 has twin ovals.

The first version should have had twin ovals.

Let's hope the black edition comes sooner rather than later. I went to look at one last week in white very nice with the quad exhaust.
It does need the black grill the silver just doesn't work on a white car. We even had the mirrors changed to gloss black on the wife's 2011 S3. I nearly went for gloss black wheels but never got round to it,not worth it now as she's looking to change it next year.

Just looking at the brochure there is definitely no black edition listed as yet.

I had silver everything on white S3 and then went mad when ordering RS3, black everything and the wheels..... Well to say they're like marmite is understatement!! Think you're decision to hold off on wheels was right one, Anyway kids and dogs are everywhere now so rs4eva

That's actually pretty good.
If it had an evolution of the turbo 4 pot in the RS3 it would be fairly rapid.
I'm just not a fan of haldex dif type affairs that are front biased.

worst thing they could ever do would be to stick VAGs dull 4 pot in it complete with fakanator sound simulator ... :audibash:
