Yes, I agree with you on the Avant. I was actually looking for one for ages but good one's are like hen's teeth over here in NI! Settled for the saloon though and am delighted I did...

Re. the clutch pedal switch, it is amazing how such a cheap part can make such a difference. Now that you mention it, it did notice a slight drop in gear change quality not long after startup. I thought this was simply due to cold gearbox oil. Looking forward to replacing the switch now...
