I figured out how to turn on the Webasto heater. It has to be set on the menu first before the radio control will work.

I tried it out today, I set it for 45 minutes. Ambien temperature was 11C
After 20 minutes coolant temperature was 47C (using VCDS)
After 45 minutes coolant temperature was 58C (using VCDS)

Engine block was luke-warm to the touch. It also turned on the fan to heat the cabin, but I switched that off. Why waste heat on the passangers, I want to warm up the engine.
A little dissapointed the coolant temperature wasnt higher, but 58C is a lot better than a cold start.

Next time I will make note of the fuel level in VCDS before and after. I dont know how accurate that is, if the smallest unit is 1 litre its not going to tell me much.

Seems like engine/cabin heater for the RS6 C6 is a dead end.
Calix, Defa, Audi service center all say no-go. Have contacted Webasto but no reply.

So no one has this on their RS6?

I doubt it will be efficient, but 250W for 3 hours is not a big cost and if it can make my engine a little bit happier during the -20* (C) days, then probably it's worth it.

Can't hurt, anyway....
