Man, sure sounds like it! I have actually managed 220g/s out of my stock S4... im no expert though! As you can see when I started this post!

The other block I looked at was 032, log that, its the o2 sensors... they should stay very near the 0% mark, when my maf went I was seeing 20% average, then the running lean code!

I have an old MAF and i have just tried to clean it in IPA to see if it would fix it to save buying a new one. When i fitted it i had an error saying MAF reading too high, not sure if this is because i cleaned it and damaged it or just because it has been sitting in my shed for over a year.

Looks like i will have to buy a new one tomorrow. How much did you pay for yours and where did you get it from. Is it an original part?

I bought mine from a guy that had written off his S4. He had just had a new orginal one fitted as his car failed its MOT due to emissions. so I got it for like £40. I was taking a chance but it was fine!

On my travels for quotes I got were:-
about £90+VAT from VAGPARTS - thats non exchange (they wont do exchange)
about £65+VAT from German and Swedish - needed your old one back

and thats it really..... hope you get it sorted mate, probably some spider frazzled on the hot wire from the shed!

I guess that means that my MAF has gone, can someone confirm that i should get about 256 g/s with 320bhp?
Simon,

Firstly note that getting a peak MAF reading needs a fair few WOT runs. I find that boost peaks best after a gearchange during hard acceleration.

Second the 0.8 rule is a rule of thumb. My peak MAF reading is about 280 g/s. The 0.8 rule makes that about 350 bhp, which is a bit more than I got on AmD's RR.
