Drayke Fields do it again (B7 Avant)

Post by V8mark » Tue Sep 17, 2013 1:06 pm

Peeps,

Just had my Avant detailed by Drayke Fields and thought you might be interested in the results. I went for the Stage 1, Wheel Refurb, Interior Deep Clean and a coat of the Race Glace Wax.

The results are great, got the wifes car going in this weekend to have the same treatment.

I should have got this done before the summer then it would have looked great through the good weather :bash: tw@t!

here's the link if anyone is interested;

cheers

Haha know the feeling, I had mine machine polished in December to coincide with brand new alloys and tyres going on a fortnight before, picked it up in the dark at 5pm, woke up the next morning to find it snowing! Didn't get a single photo of it clean!

Wow, how dirty was it? And even bigger WOW, what an amazing job! It didn't look like those thorn scratches were coming out! Really need to get mine booked in. It looked like a new car at the end!

It was pretty dirty, we had just come back from a beach holiday in Cornwall, that combined with our 3yr old and the car was abused, including using the boot as a changing room, hence the large amount of sand! They had been hedge trimming down there and I did hear some scraping from the bushes when the road was tight with two way traffic, imagine my surprise when I saw those scratches the next morning, :cry: gutted ..... On the plus side I used it as an excuse to the misses saying 'that will need machine polishing' !

Credit to Lanre, he obviously loves what he does and puts a lot of effort in. The car will be going back next Easter so it looks good for the summer this time :blackrs4:

I had forgotten how good these cars look on the road, saw a black avant same as mine on the M69 on Monday morning heading towards the M1, looked fantastic, low, wide track, and had such road presence, you forget when you are always driving, defiantly worth keeping them looking good :biggrin3:
