RS6 Loan Car

Post by Boggle73 » Fri Sep 13, 2013 6:20 pm

Got an RS6 Loan car on Monday from Sheffield Audi.

Can't wait, it will blow my hairdressers car into next millennium.

Ok, let me paraphrase what you just said. You gave them your tt and they gave you an rs6 as a loan car? Have I got this correct.
She may be big and heavy but its whats on the inside that counts.....

Yep, that's correct.
TT in for warranty work and they have me the RS6 as a loan car for the day. Not a bad swap as far as I'm concerned.
I did ask if that was possible and the answer was yes.

Lucky boy! Enjoy it.

I had the R8 in for work and they gave me an SQ5 to try, really liked it tbf!

Its a bit of a lottery, booked in with enough time my dealer will get me something nice but if you need something doing quickly, its luck of the draw. I've had A1's, A5 cab, justdepends whats available.

They have a red C7 Rs6 on demo at the mo......hmm!

I suppose you can only ask, if they say no then you haven't lost anything.
Sheffield Audi has been taken over by JCT600 and it seems a lot better than Gilder Audi who they bought out.

I said I would never buy from them again, may have to rethink.

My wife has been pestering for a Q5, the SQ5 may be a way of us going to 1 car. I hardly use mine but like something nice to look after. I'm just not sure on the looks, it doesn't have any X factor.

Anyway, I'm off to plan a good route for Monday. :biggrin3:

Had it for 1 hour and just can't believe how good it is. Weather is terrible this morning so was kindly asked not to use dynamic mode. Got a meeting in uttoxeter this afternoon so will have a good drive later. Incredible car.

Why is dynamic like a sport mode. Sorry to sound daft but not quite sure what does it actually do apart from change suspension setting ?

Basically yes. Throttle, steering and suspension.

Not had time yet to put up my thoughts, but it was very positive. I did use dynamic and it made a marked difference to the suspension / ride. No extra noise that I could tell and the throttle response was brilliant anyway.
