Don't mind doing it in whatever order...only thing I would say is you don't want to go on if the car is to hot because of heat soak.probably best to leave it at least 45 mins....as this was an issue at the paramount rr day a few years ago, cars that had a run on the rollers that had not long got there were running lower on hp...than ones that had been sat a little while..

Good call Jay. May be as cars turn up we number them and then ensure that the last to arrive doesn't end up going first etc

I will have done about 200 odd miles by the time I get there so cool off will be needed. I imagine this will only be a problem for the first few people having a go as the rest of us will probably be hanging around long enough to cool down.

I've never been to AmD before but I presume there will be enough room to get all these cars parked with enough room to shift them on and off the rollers?
Also, is there a place where all the cars can park alongside each other for a group shot? I imagine outside of the national meets this will be the biggest gathering of RS4s I've seen in the last 3 years.

Actually thinking about it this is the best club turnout I have seen. There will be more here than we had at AITP and GTI International we didn't even attend as a club.

No probs with parking mike it's on a industrial estate..I doubt any of the other units will be open on a Sunday the same as amd usually isn't..

Don't know how to post a link but on there site there is a photo of the Cupra rr day that shows some of the car park..

I am pretty sure the club has no flags.

I have a RS246 reg plate for the cars but that's it.

Found these ones with the drive over pole base. 3 metres in height and just under £100.

How can we source one of these? I've pinged a PM to Phil to see if we can get the existing banner but if not is this something that the club would fund?

Gaz those flags are great for events like AITP to help people find the stand. In this case though the banner will be fine as we'll just lay it on the floor in front of the cars and if there is anywhere to take a shot from a high viewpoint that will look even better.
Agree though, it would be a great advert for RS246.

Not as good as the national meet in 2011.

But better than the 2012 event:

Just spoke to Phil. He is actually going to try to come along to the event due to the amount of cars that will be attending. If he cant attend in person he will get the club banner shipped direct to AmD....Schweet!!! :biggrin3:
