I know it's all subjective, but for me the rotors accentuate the blistered arches much better than the V spokes, the car just looks more striking with rotors.

The RS4 has always been a car that can look bling or stealth depending how its specced, V spokes are for those that like the Q car invisibility while rotors are those that like to be noticed (usually with Sepang I bet!).
The B7 didn't really have a choice but there were the odd cars that had the 18" 5 spokes for total stealth - specced for driver comfort rather than looks and resale.
I don't think V spokes are bad for resale, probably like buckets vs comfort seats in the B7 but easier to swap!

I actually think the V spokes look more aggressive and lightweight. The rotors look dated and cumbersome. Used to love them 10 years ago on the RS6 but not for a new car.
It is each to his own though and V spokes will defo be less common if Autotrader is anything to go by.

I should know this but are the V spokes smaller? They look it. 19" vs 20"?

Both are 20".

The standard wheel is the 19" which was on the EVO mag long term car if you've got a copy lying around.

Agree they're dated, but my point was how they suit the B8 RS4, the rotors seem to bring out the arches. As someone else said though, the V spokes do make the car less conspicuous, not that the car stands out all that much in the first place, non p-heads would struggle to pick out an RS4 methinks.

We thank goodness we get a good choice, unlike M3 drivers, so we can pick and choose. I think the V Spokes are equally conspicuous, I mean how many estates run on 20's?!?!
I just think the rotors run the risk of making your car look like a TDI S-Line or S4 black edition making the car even more inconspicuous, something that does not effect V spokes.

But either way, we each have our own reasons for choosing them and that is one of the many beauties of this car, it allows a certain element of individuality.
