S4 to S6

Post by jonno1 » Mon Nov 22, 2004 1:30 pm

Would anyone consider this? Its for space reasons really. One baby already, another one probably not far off and my S4 Avant is already struggling to hold the golf clubs, pram, luggage, shopping etc which is quite often rammed in the back meaning I cant see a thing out the back!

Has anyone looked at this as an option? I know the car is bigger, heavier etc and that the V8 guzzles petrol but I would appreciate your views/experience on this. Prices of an S6 Avant seem to be falling fast (as is my S4!!).

Thanks in advance.

I've no comments on the S6 v's the S4 I'm afraid but if you do decide to rid of the S4 then drop me a mail with the spec etc...I'm in the market for one and currently trying to sort the 'wheat from the chaff' if you know what I mean!

Cheers

PS - Go the whole hog and get an S8 with all the toys on! Sell it to the missus as 'it's big and safe my dear'...

If you like the S4, you will probably not like the S6. It is much bigger and the V8 engine has no torque - you need to rev the nuts off it. Very different to the S4. RS6 is the answer - plenty of torque!
