What can I say about the exhaust. Initially when I heard it start up, I was unsure as it sounded no different to std......but how wrong could I be.
Quiet and 'slightly burbly on tick over, but start to pull away gently and it sounds perfect. Meaty and low. Keep the revs below 3k and it sounds absolute quality. On anything over half throttle....OMFG!!!! Jim from Star took it out a run to ensure there was nothing knocking before doing a dyno run. He must have been about 1-2 miles away and I heard him open the taps. That was the first time I gave a giggle today.
On the way home it was back windows cracked and a 'few'
full throttle blasts....every tunnel now has a standard routine - drop a gear, boot, roar, lift off, pop pop....BANG, gurgle, gurgle, then giggle giggle........If you like your exhausts to give drama to the car, this is the one for you, but not for the shy folks out there as you'll never sneak up on anyone....EVER
