Have you named your RS4....Bit of weekend fun

Post by Firestarter » Sat Aug 17, 2013 11:46 am

Hi Guys
Over the years I have always given my car a name. Since my son started driving 18 months ago him and his pals took this to another level by naming their respective cars after a girls name beginning with the first letter of the model of their cars. So my Son had a Corsa and called it Candy. His mate who also had a black Corsa called his Cilla (Black)!!!

I have after mulling over decided to call my RS4 MrT. The reason is I have a Grey British Blue cat called Mr Tubbs. He is Big, has a VERY loud Purr, and when he sits in a certain position with his paws tucked in his hips make a V and he sits purring loudly!! We always used to call him Tubbsie V8. Well I thought I can call the RS4 Mr Tubbs so shortened it to Mr T. :bigblink: Anal Yes but hey its what us Petrolheads do and makes us what we are

Just tried to get a pic of him in the position I mentioned and you can sort of see what I mean about the V. Also his ears are a V as well :nodder:

So come on don't be shy.....just don't tell me anyone has called their car Maude, or Mable, or Dorris :biggrin3: :biggrin3:

Poor Little V6 Princess......she is the "guvnor" and takes the kicking but......gets her own back when the V8 thug wants to be nice and then she unleashes the hidden power within the V6 and clumps him when he tries to stick his nose up her arse :bash:

No I haven't and I hate fecking cats as well.... unless it's one of these... and they're a bit impractical to keep around the house.

Good, it's wrong, you'll get a visit from the RSPCA for stuff like that.

Mine's called Eeyore, because the reg ends EOR.

Mine is Ava the Avant. A bit classy with racy undertones.
I also have a black and silver land rover defender called Daisy (the defender), and previously had a Leon Cupra called Lenie after the bird from Aqua who I used to fancy, and a 306 S16 called Hilly as the last letters of the reg were HLY.

This all started from my dad who had Dilly the Datsun sunny then Gertie the Granada! Sad I know, but it's just a laugh. I even asked the previous owner of my Daytona avant if he had a name for it! Maybe me and the missus should just have some kids then we'd have an excuse!

Just to add to the debate, I don't mind cats, they keep the mice away rom my house thanks to a neighbour who keeps a few.
