my original spec was a daytona grey car which was build week 43 so approx Nov delivery but I've been told the colour change will add on atleast 6 weeks

Yep, exclusive paint will turn it into a lotto. They pull the car off the production line for this.

Without wanting to pour water on the fire, my RS3 was Sepang exclusive. It wasn't well painted, lacquer peel in under 12 months.

Both good specs without going over the top.

Without asking you both to be exact did you get a discount from the stealers? Yes or no answer will suffice.

Just as a note on the exclusive paint job, my Imola yellow RS5 was the worst paint on all the Audi's I had so I will always stick with the standard offerings.

My issue was with the paint on the inside of the front wings, first time I cleaned the car with a power washer (not on a high pressure) it just peeled off. It wasn't noticeable and I only had the car for 5 months so never bothered to get it sorted. The rest was ok but it may have been the paint type rather the fact it was an exclusive colour. I've got sepang on mine and no issues at all with the exception of stone chips etc.

I've spec the car on the Audi Configurator and I would pick Daytona grey as the other colours I like would need the carbon pack which I refuse to pay over £4k for and I also had a loan of an R8 v10 plus which was in Daytona and after driving through a lot of rain for about three hours it just didn't look dirty which is a bonus compared to the other colours I have owned. Then the Alu pack fits nicely as well.

Saying all of that still love Sepang and I wish Audi had that as a standard colour on the RS6. I like Estoril when the suns shining but a little dark for me otherwise.
