Same here. Manual mode is really great. Probably even nicer for as your downshits and up shifts are even louder than the ones I get. My fuel economy in an RS would be shocking. Its shocking enough in an S.535dboy wrote:Graeme4130 wrote:Ah, but that then puts your gearbox into S which makes smooth progress difficult535dboy wrote:Or just hit the individual button again

The piddly fuel tank doesn't help.
I'm with G though, drive in D with exhaust open. Driving in sport everywhere would result in giving child whiplash!

Re: ***B8 RS4 picture/colour thread!***
I'm still experimenting at the moment but when playing on my favourite roads I'm in manual. For general pottering round town I'm in drive, but want the exhaust open.
On a motorway I'll probably go with S mode.

On the motorway in S, you'll be in 4th or 5th gearPid wrote:I'm still experimenting at the moment but when playing on my favourite roads I'm in manual. For general pottering round town I'm in drive, but want the exhaust open.

I tend to use D on the motorway and general driving (school runs, shopping etc) and M when messing about

Just seen this when driving past the other day. I like the exterior colour but not so with the interior.
