Custom exhausts

Post by Nickyboy » Wed Jul 17, 2013 6:49 pm

Anyone got any experience of having a custom exhaust. Looking on eBay they can be had cheap but are they to be avoided. Trying to justify 2k on the highly rated AWE exhaust is proving hard with my mrs.

The AWE is a great sounding exhaust buddy Alan has got one on his and its definitely a leg up on the Milltek IMO.

You really need to hear an exhaust in person to see if it is for you buddy. I am sure there will be a number of owners in your area with different ones. If not its worth going to one of the meets that you know guys with different exhausts are going to.

Sorry to pick up an old thread but does anyone have any expierence of Proflow systems, full range here:

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Custom-Exhaust ... 34.c0.m322

Haven't yet made contact but looks like they do a lot of Audis, I'm looking for something for my 2009 S4 but not sure I can justify a Milltek/AWE as it's mainly for looks...

Thanks
