RS2 to RS6 anyone done it ?
Will I like an RS6 or will it be an unwieldy beast compared to a 2 ?
Any views would be good has anyone made the swap is it worth the £30k ish involved ??
Driving wise it is faster presumably massive extra low torque anyway one problem with the 2 .. do they fel a ot faster
Anyone got a nice black avant they wat to sell ????
I must sort a test drive and find out ............

I have owned an S2, an RS2 an RS4 and now have an RS6 Plus.
You will be amazed how much better the 6 is and indeed should be given the relative ages of each design.
What the 6 doesn't have is the big turbo lag to on boost affect that the RS2 has (which I think is great fun but I know many find annoying).
It has wooden brakes in comparison to the RS2 (Probably the brakes with the best feel I've driven).
Somehow it's not quite as exciting as the RS2 but it is a hell of a lot faster more capable, quieter and more sophisticated.
What you need is of course a test drive as one man's meat is another man's poisen. Try one out, I think you'll be impressed.
I wish you luck with it!
Cheers

Just got mine this weekend and not stopped grinning. My favourite review from Topgear goes 'Key......burble......burble.....vroom......aaaarrrrggghhh....aaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhh !'
Which pretty much sums up my view - fabulous

I've had S2, RS2, S4, RS4, RS4 (modded), and RS6 (in that order) and am about to go RS6+ and can honestly say that I am totally delighted with the RS6. Yes the steerings a bit woolly and the brakes could be less wooden but hey it was never meant to be a track car. It sounds great, looks ace, drinks like i do, and you'll be delighted with one, believe me, as long as you can afford the fuel bill. I was, anyway! otherwise I'd not be scratching round trying to find myself an RS6+!
Congratulations - I'm pleased that you're not disappointed.
Even after 18 months of ownership, there's nothing out there that I'd want to swap for my RS6 Avant. It just does everything so well - at the weekend a sedate run back from Coventry (keeping below 90[kph, officer] most of the way) with my son's belongings in the back, and his bike on the roof, or a quick blat down to Southampton and back last evening.
