I don't know. Have you been painted gloss black? That grill definitely has.

Got to agree with footers here. That car is being treated like a hot potato. Its undergone fire damage whilst being sedately*ahem* driven round the nurburgring. Lovely spec but something clearly isn't adding up.

You pay that sort of money for a car you should really check it with a fine tooth comb, proper road tests, vag.com, even independent inspection by one of the experts, AMD, MRC, Unit 20 etc.
So those couple of recent buyers didn't? Or, did they just not fall n love with it?

Looks immaculate in the photos, wouldn't mind a go in a manual RS6, drove a manual D2 S8, and it was much quicker than the ZFHP24 version. The 0-60 was about 1.5secs quicker IIRC (Audi figures) for starters.

This car is becoming quite a story :D the car was sold by me in perfect working order, the current owner did a lot of research on the car and appeared to be more than happy to purchase it from the previous owner!

What I will say is that the car is now up for £2,200 more than he paid for it! Making a quick buck because another manual is for sale at nearly £20k not a bad bit of business if this was to be the case, but only he can answer why he is selling so quick again? he will probably be reading this so maybe he can come on and explain why?

It is advertised on here
http://audisrs.com/2003_AUDI_RS6_QUATTR ... 47274.html

And the current owner has posted a video of the car ok YouTube here..
http://youtu.be/s4NDfQvr9tA

It is one truly quick car, people can debate it's history but and has had a fortune spent on it and will need a fortune spent to keep it on the road (just in brakes and tyres) never mind petrol tax insurance and any possible problems in the future.

What I will say is a manual may not be everyone's cup of tea but In the short time it has changed hands I think I have seen at least 5 more gearboxes go "bang" on here with the old auto box, like it or not, most know on here they are sitting on a time bomb with that awful auto box produced by Audi, that can't be comfortable :bigblink:

ZF produced that gearbox.

If it's so amazing and more reliable than an tiptro enabled counterpart, then why did you sell, why did the next guy sell and why is the current owner selling?
No matter where you go, there you are.

Just seen this listed on ebay. Apparently the reason for sale on there was needing a lugger for a caravan. Although you could stick a towbar on it and tow with it. :bash:

Would love to get buzzed by it on the motorway at 120plus with a van hitched. Would be worth a laugh just for that :bigwave:
