Broad speed discount increased
Broad speed discount increased
Seems they are now offering 9k discount. Has anyone got near this from a dealer or tried broad speed?
Re: Broad speed discount increased
9k sounds a bit far fetched. Base car for 47k? Can't see it.
Discounts are there to be had but I can't see them getting near 20%.
How do they quote their discounts? Did they source a yellow car with a beige interior that had a mega list price and flogged it for unders?

Hence me asking the question if any one had used them.
They apparently deal with UK dealers but have a look at the website. I have seen other forums talk of them and the response has been positive.

Just ordered a new BMW for my sister, took the Broadspeed price in and they reluctantly matched it, got £4k off. Try and buy from your local dealer, if not, order via Broadspeed. Plenty of people do, they put you in touch with a dealer, could be 300 miles away, for a massive saving a decent road trip back, it's worth it. In fact, do the factory collection if you can on the B8, gutted BMW don't do it as I would have loved that.

Re: Broad speed discount increased
well worth looking into, my experience was favourable ..but that was 7 years ago
When i bought my BMW335D before the coupe had even been released in 2006, The broadspeed published discount in effect bought the leather and upgrade soundpackage. My two local dealers, would not even entertain a single penny of discount....even when I showed them the broadspeed printouts
It was painless process from ordering to delivery ...other than the pain on the wallet
Best thing was local dealer rang me to ask if I wanted to go to the coupe launch, I said no thanks as I'm picking up mine the next day
..... I did say 'Well you had the chance"

The RS6 being advertised at £66k... over 10k under list.

This is what I don't get....adsgreen wrote:The RS6 being advertised at £66k... over 10k under list.
If that is really doable I'd be looking very closely despite my reservations.

Re: Broad speed discount increased
yes they do put you in touch with a UK dealer, mine happened to be 150 miles away... but was easy reachable by 3xtrains for 20 quid (booked in advance), nice drive back thou
Suppose the reasoning for that dealer is its a sale towards the quotas, even if the profit is tight ..... and usually there is very limited chance of selling to somebody 150 miles away.
Think I may have negotiated with my lady that its a sensible thing to do, as she loves the Rs4 B7 but she does prefer an auto
So is NOW a good time to be ordering? are dealers looking to fill slots?

Re: Broad speed discount increased
Noises being made seem to suggest that 2013 slots are full, so that's the 2013 sales done and dusted. I can't see that they will be falling over themselves to fill 2014 slots yet.
I've yet to buy a car anything like local, I'll go where I can get what I want for the price I want to pay. When I grow a pair I'll give BS a go.

Re: Broad speed discount increased
'tis true that dealers have quantity and monetary volume targets.
Re: Broad speed discount increased
Indeed, but RS cars offer a far bigger margin, so if there's demand why discount? Targets, the same as most, quarterly.adsgreen wrote:'tis true that dealers have quantity and monetary volume targets.
Sure, belt out as many A4 2.0 TDI as you can, RS cars....not so much.

Not RS but I did get 7k knocked off my S4 using drive the deal. Highly recommended. Very little downside. Includes trailer delivery if you want.doodlebug wrote:Indeed, but RS cars offer a far bigger margin, so if there's demand why discount?
