My first RS6. Proper chuffed!

Post by rich » Tue Jul 02, 2013 8:01 pm

Hi,

Bought it at the weekend after selling my 4.4 V8 Range Rover. All I can say is WOW.

Hopefully it is a good example and proves reliable (Is that possible with these?)
It needs a few bits sorting out to make it how I want it like;
the rear blind doesn't work but it makes a clicking noise when i press the button.
The RNSD 'select' button does not 'select' so i can't use the sat nav or chose any options.
Would like to get a different exhaust but seems Milltek is the only option?
The climate control buttons are wearing so would like to replace that if not too expensive.

Help with the above would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I can recommend a good place to get your RNS-D replaced with RNS-E, OEM bluetooth and AMI.

Just had mine done today. Really happy with it.

I believe he is a friend of Grizz on here after spending a good 4 hrs chatting to him.

Nice one, you will love it, and some are reliable....
Can you change the source for the RNSD with the right/left arrows on the steering wheel?

It depends what you want as costs can differ and there are different RNS-Es that can fit.

Here is the link to his site with prices. He's a walking parts catalogue reeling part nos off the top of his head to Audi dealers
he is retro fitting for.

You'll have to get through us Daytowners first.

See what I did there?

Where abouts are you based if you want the silver trim changed to gloss black like the plus recommend monster wraps in southampton and the old man wood if it has it :)

Get a copy of Vagcom and cable off ebay to diagnose faults - i can help you with that if local

miltek is one the options for the exhaust the sound is much improved once on
