RS6 brochure.

Post by RS6chris! » Sat Jun 29, 2013 3:34 pm

Got me brochure through the post today.

I can only dream at the moment...but boy oh boy this car looks awesome.

The spec sheet is unreal...a real choice of goodies if our pockets are deep enough?

Can't wait to pick one up in a couple of years once the depreciation has bum f@@@ed someone else!!

Got my brochure today. Priced up my ideal spec and it was £112,070 exc road tax. Not be ordering that in a hurry.
My brother just got his M5 last Tuesday and I'll have a shot of that once its run in.
I'm with Chris. 2-3 years time after somebody has been raped by depreciation me thinks.

Like other I have looked at the C7 pricing and yeah ouch ... however the above two quotes are opposite to each other ... second one assumes some one will order the 112k one you wanted ..

Spoken to two dealers, one has four on order, three low to middle spec, only one full monty. The other has a car ordered for stock, again, low to middle.

I think the big spec cars are going to be hard to come by.

I'm only too aware that to get the exact spec I desire, I would probably be the one to be raped by said depreciation beast.
However, someone, somewhere may have the kindness in their heart to email me to request that spec, buy it, keep the miles low, care for it and maintain it to the highest standard, keep it in a heated garage and finally trade it in to a dealer who wants rid quick just as I happen to walk through the door with the right amount of dosh.
Any takers?;)

No reason why you could not give a specification to a dealer. Get them to run it as a demonstrator and then do a deal on buying.

Just a thought.

I think you'd do we'll to find a dealer prepared to do that on a 112k car. They would have to be sure they could move it on at a profit.

Then there's the issue of the ex-demo car which has spent most of its time on full chat. And, many ex-demo RS cars have been listed at or very close to list.

That said if you had a friendly dealer something might be doable.

Spec is great as standard anyway

I reckon 10k dynamic package plus is all you need?

Ceramics?...check.
LED lights?...check.
Dynamic steering?...check.

Maybe 21" wheels and sunroof and I'd be a happy man!!!

I mean 6.3k for B and O music?...give over!!!

That's still well over 90k with paint. There's a few other bits too.

Got to be balls deep or not at all!
