Clutch judder

I've been aware recently of a slight judder under normal clutch use on my B7 RS4. It is about mid-clutch travel. There isn't any slippage or clutch smell and all gears select normally. I seem to remember reading about a similar issue on my Subaru and someone suggested it could be helped with a few high rev clutch engagements. Any thoughts?
