The previous RS Blue auction was ended early 'due to an error in the minimum price or reserve amount' so perhaps he realised an error in the reserve that meant it was never going to sell (an extra zero perhaps). I know from his comments that he is away on business till tomorrow (12th) so it may be readvertised when he gets back home.

I think somewhere close to 1000 bhp, kevlar composite bodypanels and a very large bank balance. :notworthy:

Not a single bid on the second RS Blue one despite reasonable mileage and recent work by QST

and black leather interior which is less eye-watering than the Blue Alcantara

Sounds a good enough car, anyone know the car or dealer selling? Wonder what the reserve price is.

You can never tell what will happen on eBay!

The Silver one is back for sale on ebay. A buy it now for £15,500. 168k miles, the seller thinks he can get more than this....... No mention of a hard life on a farm this time round, or the paintwork, maybe its been sorted out. Currently at £8100 with 3 days to go.

I went to look at that car first time round. I didn't bid as there were too many unknowns. It sounds like everything's been fixed though. But £15,500 is a bit optimistic I think.

That sounds lovely, but I need lhd.
I did spot a lovely midnight blue example with 73,000 km for sale at MCP for £16k. This would almost certainly be the same car I phoned Italy about repeatedly for 2 weeks when it was on mobile.de for 15k Euros! That's some margin they're hoping to make, and good luck to them.

May still happen.....

Walking to the coffee machine at work yesterday, I had one of those classic double take moments. Spotted a Polar RS2 in the guest car park. The plate was M9, with the remainder hidden behind a 'reserved parking' sign. Suspected it was 'FUF', went to have a look and indeed it was!

Sadly it disappeared before I could find the owner in the office - but I did try! Was then keen to get home and search for this thread. It appears 'Phil P' won last time it was on ebay. Hopefully he visits the office again sometime.
