Searched here and Googled it but there doesn't seem to be a list of what people consider 'must have's'?

I'm currently driving an E90 M3 but fancy a change, with lower costs all around for the S4 it seems like a good option.

Just to echo some of the other comments, super sports, rear diff and b&o are essential.

I see they've changed some of the specification for the 2013 version, now has more as standard but still have to specify full leather seats.

Thanks! It's a superb motor and a very good all-rounder, however it's expensive to run and I do very little mileage, not enough to justify keeping it.

I want something a bit cheaper but still with a bit of go in it, had a 335i before and couldn't go back to one from an M3, would be an obvious down-grade. Moving to another brand is the only way and the S4 seems like a good choice.

What about an S5? I went from an S4 to S5 (with one child) and I bloody love it, ever so slightly nicer in my opinion than the S4. It gets a lot of attention though which is the downside.

By the way the S4 is also expensive to run if you do mileage round town and when pressing on.
