Aaaaaarggghhhhhh - After much deliberating I pretty much decided to wait for MRC to release their map for the B8.5. Mainly due to their rep on here and the fact that this ECU had to be opened up for programming, so it really only came down to which map was best.
Now to throw a spanner in the works - APR have just released their map for the Simos ECU & it can be loaded via the OBD port. I think this might be a winner for me. I think I might have to sacrifice a few ponies knowing my ECU doesnt have to be cracked open.
I also like the fact I can revert back to stock at any time using the cruise stalk.
What do you guys think? Should I go APR?
I know they do a stage 2 pulley should I need more power (this comes with free software upgrade).
Decisions, decisions.........

I like the idea of going back to stock. I had this on my VRS.

Well, after a month of trying really hard to book my car into APR / Awesome I think I'm going to give up & wait for MRC to get their map released for the B8.5.
Basically I was going to go to APR because of the OBD programmable option they released. I spoke to APR a few times and they had little info available and referred me to Awesome. After a month of telephone calls Awesome have basically said the OBD option doesn't work! APR say it does, they say it doesn't.
I can't be bothered to pursue the APR option anymore and if I have to open up the ECU I might as well get it done with the map I really want, I.e. MRC, and hopefully with the customer service that goes with it.
