I'm assuming you don't have to duck your head down to check your not driving more than 70??
No the instrument cluster is not obscured. For the price and ease of fitting its the obvious solution for those with the boring multifunction wheel.

Sorry that looks terrible I would have gone the oem route might have been more expensive but the end result would have been far better imo

All that's wrong with it (and causing the haters) I'd the old shaped centre piece.

If it has the new style circle piece then all good.

Sorry, I like it. I especially like the front grill tie up airbag :)

And it's also kinda the point when modding... Making the car different from all the rest, most of the time this will divide opinion unless the manufacturer got it very wrong to start with.

Well done for trying something different!

Nothing to do with the center its the wheel itself but as said its his car and he can do what he likes but not my idea of an improvement

I think some may be missing the point here, I have installed this instead of the normal multifunction wheel that I had before NOT instead of a proper RS4 flat bottom wheel. With this in mind its a massive improvement, the normal multifunction wheel is huge and thin like a bus steering wheel!

Agreed. If you have already have MFSW and bluetooth prep, the RS4 FBSW isn't an option imv. I'm looking at the non-thickened option atm...

I'm not usually a fan of the MFSW but I think this one looks really good - hope you enjoy it.

How did the process work in terms of getting this done and shipped ? I have a FBSW in alcantara that I think needs to be re-trimmed and would potentially want to use these guys. How did you find these do deal with - or are there better options for a 'simple' re-trim ?

Thanks,

Gavan

I believe you buy the wheel from them with an extra 'deposit'. Once you receive the new wheel from them and have fitted it you can send your old wheel back for a refund of the deposit.

I wouldn't bother with these if you just want a retrim, there are plenty of people in the uk who can do that.

Yes you send the old wheel back after and they refund the agreed amount. I have just in fact received my €70 refund.

They were very good to deal with and replied to all my emails within 24hrs. Quality of the finished product is very good.

I've dealt with them before for some queries (but not bought anything yet), and can confirm their communication is very good.
