Yes, we are in the States however our state requires the use of the front plate. Fortunately for us, our police don't bother us too much for not running one. 8)

Yup, the 4 of us are actually planning on doing the "clear corner" mod which is what we call it here in the USA. At least that's what I assume you are referring to with "de-tango".

He's talking about using a silver-coated bulb in your turn signal (we call it your indicator) so the headlight cluster has no orange in it. You might be talkking about removing the US-spec reflector from the bumper gills? I'd say do both.
