I know, this morning my Dunpoo Sportmaxx GTs were sliding around a roundabout at a speed much lower than my Eagle F1s would.

Agree on the tyres.. in 3rd & 4th the esp goes kinda nuts even when not full acceleration,so I just switch it of for more control, I keep expecting it to say on the dash

" WTF "

Made a small vid of car starting http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4NDfQvr ... e=youtu.be , def going to try a 0-100 for the fun of it..

I know its low tech :-) , but the thought occured to tape my phone to the steering wheel to video the speedo , then I can time it afterwards ? more accurate than someone hitting a stop watch etc, as I can do it numerous times myself watching video to get it exact ( ish ) .

I am old fashioned but with all my cars including the 6 I turn to ignition, give her 5 secs or so to prime, do base checks etc, then fire up. That also stops the bitching about the washer level.

Also, did you do that revving on a stone cold engine? Just asking.

been quite a few trips in it that day , had been sitting for a good hour but was still warm :-) + it was only revving to 3.5-4k. I always drive any car gingerly for 10 - 15 mins ( esp on turbos ) before using them slightly , after 20 mins or so happy to give it some beans , never been one for hashing stuff !
