But if you wanted that, you'd have booked in over the road at the Porsche experience. Boy did that lot look bored getting shunted around single-track. Each to their own.

It's actually a good day with a variety of different circuits and grip levels to encourage drifting but the Audi one is also very good. Enjoyed them both equally

That TTRS sounds lush. I'm going to have to have one of those 5 cylinder engines at some point, I think.

The question is, what would you put the 5pot in?

What's available with it? TTRS? RS3? Anything else? Couldn't have a TT.

RS2 it is, then. :)

I read/watched something from the guy who was head of motorsport for Audi back in the day, and is still at quattro GmbH now, he mentioned that there are lots of similarities in the modern 5 pot to the early one, same firing order was one thing he mentioned amongst others.

Good write up, Bam. When I went to the launch of the Audi driving experience, ten years ago now, they had the C5 RS 6, B6 S4 and (I think) a TT.

Somebody is crafting one in to an Elise/Exige so that would actually go around corners too!

The Audi 4 pots are good in them too.

I think firing order is where they'd stop being similar. Wasn't the RS2 5pot hewn from cast iron and run at low compression? The 2.5 5pot is plastic (ALU) and stupid high compression, for a boosted car.
