Who was after "Racing" Recaros?

Post by bjacks » Tue Nov 02, 2004 6:51 pm

Found somewhere advertising them cheaper than Recaro Direct whilst trawling the net the other day.
Pick your trim and save some weight :D

Wonder whether Santa will bring me some in Silver Nappa?

Cheers

Ben

Where do you get them for £600 John? I know they're not RS4 logo'd but to be honest who is mad enough to pay all that extra cash for that?

Was I right in thinking that you save 60kg with a pair of these? The standard seats are fcuk heavy, I had one out in my S3 and struggled to carry it far. (mental note to go to the gym :D )

Cheers

Find a breaker. May be better to get a LHR donor as the drivers seat will become the passenger seat ;)

Dave, I think you missunderstood Phil.

What he is saying is the left seat in a lhd car is the drivers, and will take most of the wear.
Slap the seats in a rhd car and the drivers (left) seat has now become the passengers (still left).

I would be interested to swap my leather seats for your High-Tec seats. My interior is in excellent condition, no tears or wear to mention, and yours?

60kgs? of course not! 35kgs I think.
The standard ones are 25kgs each and the racing shells 7kgs each.
