Blown F-hose...where can I get an upgrade in Europe?

Post by Verruckt » Fri Oct 29, 2004 9:06 am

I'm fresh off the boat in Germany so I don't know where to pick up tuning parts yet. My F-hose is shot and I'm looking for a Samco replacement.

What tuners can ship to Germany for a decent price and in a reasonable timeframe? Thanks.

Not sure of tuners in Germany but UK tuners would be able to ship to Germany at resonable cost.

You could try MTM direct - they do the ultimate in F-hose upgrades .... http://www.hoppenmotorsport.com/F%20pipe.htm (yes, I know Hoppen are in the US, but I couldn't figure out the MTM site - even the english version!!) There's a page of MTM dealers in Germany here ... http://www.mtm-online.de/index_en.htm

Thanks guys, I actually found a tuner about 70km away from me who should have it.

www.sandtler.de

If they don't have it, I'll see if forge can send me one.

Nige, thanks for the MTM suggetion, but I think I'll pass. I've heard installation is much more difficult given the solid construction and clamp design. The Samco should be adequate and easier to install. I've had good luck with their TBB.

Or even Forge Motorsport (very helpful) here in the UK

or even OCT perhaps in Germany?

You're about to find out why it's called the F hose!

Sandtler is not a tuner, they sell bits for race cars, get EssVier to send you one, then take it to Ring Racing to have it fitted. Ring Racing are next to the Nürburgring, where you will be driving the car after you have upgraded the brakes and suspension.
MTM are easy to deal with, most of them speak English
