PRAISE THE LORD!!!
5.00 am this morning the police picked up a trace (on tracker I presume) and have the car now in their tender care!!
Don't yet know the condition, but there was no horrendous "it's a wreck sir!" or anything like that! Have to wait for SOCO's to complete their work and then should be able to get her back.
Really grateful for all the support on here, and offers of alternative cars etc. There's a really nice Misano 05 reg on Autotrader BTW!!
Will post more when I have more detailed news

I just hope that it hasn't been thrashed to bits or stripped out at all and it is such a shame that you will probably never know all that much about the scum that nicked it. If it was found even vaguely locally, my sis is a rozzer with lots of rozzer friends and I could ask if there is any way that she can dig up some more info for you later on.
