It wasn't like it was any old RS6, with the amount of effort and headache you had having the custom box made in the USA, and all the remedial work at MRC. Fcuking scum. Really really sorry to hear about this. If there's anything I can do, PM me.

No news at present - though police have called a couple of times to keep me updated.

Am thinking of options - do I rebuild once again (couple of Misano ones on Autotrader) or do I do something newer - thinking S4 (B8) - I've put a thread over on their forum to see if they can convince me! (http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=103670)

What do you reckon guys?

Personally I think it is refresh time Dave, you have had 2 of the same of what is a lovely but dated chassis/interior. Just my call, still can't believe you are in this situation :(.

I think I would have to jump ship too. 2 cracking motors and sadly both now gone. Trouble is finding something that ticks the C5 boxes in your head Dave. C6 loon looks nice but not been in one to comment more.
Ok Dave, why does the C5 mean so much to you?

Really sorry to hear it, worth posting a pic up of it.
Have u put it on pistonheads? Really big circulation on general gassing.
Keep an eye on eBay etc to see if it pops up cheap with different plates.
