As far as I am aware the only difference on the plus is that the discs (both front & back) are cross drilled.

Cheers

Yes four pot at the front, can't tell you the disc diameter but pretty big. Seem to stop the car very well as far as I'm concerened but for track use I think it would be another story.

You think they wouldn't do the job on the track?

They are 8 piston callipers on the front.
the RS6 (and RS4) brakes are a travesty of bad design.
Driven hard the stock brakes cause the pads to catch fire.
On the stock car, it doesn't matter what brakes they put on the rear because the inept design selected, incorporating the hand brake, means that there is little rear braking effect under most conditions.
This topic has been discussed ab infinitum on this forum, do a search to read what has been posted.

I had a long conversation yesterday with an insider in Ingolstadt, unless somebody has a rush of blood to the head, the new RS4 brakes are useless. There is no organised approach to brake systems at Audi AG, except the red pencil of the accountant.

Oh, you should be able to get a good deal on an S4, nobody is buying them, too many owners fell asleep at the wheel driving them home.

Excellent comment and my thoughts entirely when I drove one at Silverstone!
