Rolling Road Meet

Post by Bushy » Tue Jan 14, 2003 10:22 am

Seems this may be a good one

To be held at

G Force

Cost is £50 inc VAT each, we are budgetting on 5-6 cars but they reckon about 12 in one day is the max

Each car gets 2 power runs

The RR is alledgedly 1bhp acurate at the fly wheel

And they estiomate 25% power loss through the 4 wheel drive system

LOL

Yep I have had my car remapped on a RR

So i can guess the output

But it is nice to get a comparison graph that is independant from any tuner

I personally dont think AmD over inflate figures but it has been proved in court that this RR is within 1bhp accurate

Right....
I have always wanted to do this since MTM chip. But....(There's always a but)
1. I am supposed to be moving house on the 24th but haven't exchanged contracts yet . If I do move on that date I have got to book the week begining 27th off from work so it should be a goer. If we can't move on that date then I am on nights that week so no can do.
2. I don't want to sound too pushey or anything but I have got to be in London (via Braintree) by 7:30pm on the 29th for footy. Idealy I would like to get on the rollers first if anyone doesn't object so I can make a quick exit if needed.

I'm really sounding ungrateful now aren't I

I really do want to get there for this but things need to come together for me to actually be able to.

Steve. What time in the morning do we intend to start? Earlier the better as far as I'm concerned.

I should know more nearer the end of the week or if not begining of next...

Cheers

I believe they are open from around 8.30 am

If this is proving too much trouble for you Mick and Dunc cant make it

Why not make it the week after????

Shall i start a poll and then we can make our minds up?

Shall i do a poll to see if we should do a poll
