Guys
Which is better?
The Hohenester chip gives lower boost but promises lightning fast ignition times with better engine longevity (due to less boost = less heat).
MTM Stage 1 uses 1.3bar and so the kick would be superb when the turbos are up....I like the idea of that.
Would I notice the difference between 1.15 and 1.30 bar in the RS4 anyway?
Hohenester = 100 quid less also
Thanks for any advice..
1.15 bar (hohenster) vs 1.30 bar (MTM) remap?
Stock the RS4 is 1.1 bar, so I can't imagine what difference .05bar is gonna make. Would be interesting to try it though... It is possible to get power without increasing boost dramatically.
MTM I've seen peak at way over 1.3 bar.
Price shouldn't be a factor, if it is you would look at Superchips...?
