High Beam Assist

Does anyone have high beam assist and can get it to work? Not sure if I am activating this correctly. :audibash:

Mine works just by pushing stalk forward once then you get a picture of a headlight with an A in it

Same. Works a treat when you're making progress in country lanes, would be even more useful in a manual.

On my BMW the light switch had to be in the auto position, not sure if this is the same?

Thanks folks, I'll give it another whirl and see if I can get the lights to dip automatically

Or dazzle other drivers! Ill have this on my impending S5, my Mrs says I do pretend driving now:

Auto gearbox
Auto lights
Auto dimming mirror
Hill hold
Auto rain sensor
Auto dipped beam
Auto folding mirrors
Something else
Something else.

Add in the adaptive cruise and brake guard plus lane assist that actually steers the car like mine then you have the perfect mobile office

I find this ideal for keeping on top if emails

Wait until you have radar cruise, you can go hundreds of miles down the motorway without even touching your pedals. It makes long trips an absolute breeze.

I can't say I like it, the novelty wears off very quickly on that one!

Had it on a new A6 demo

Every car I went to try and park by had somebody in it so I bottled it!

Would love auto parking. We have to park on street and my 19 inch rotors have already got some kerb marks! I blame the wife but I'm sure I did it once too! Grrrrr.
