This is what I will extrapolate: You are seeing those tyres available used because they are coming off crashed cars. Obviously the cars shod in GY are not coming off the road in such great quantities.

so,

searching the web for tyres this afternoon, I got goodyear f1's for £765 delivered only.

i did notice that there is an offer on the vredesteins, I've heard mixed reviews, but is is worth a dabble, seeing as they would be £635 delivered for a set.

I only want delivery as I'm getting the car aligned as well, and I'm fussy where abouts it goes to!

Based on the fact that I don't mince it up with winter/summer wheels, I will be on F1 asym2s for this beast too when the time comes, making it a trio on that rubber.

I ran Michelin PSS and the GY Eagle F1's on my RS 6, The PSS were superb in the dry but a little lively in the wet. Out of the two, it is Goodyear Eagle F1 Assys that will be going on the C6.
