S-reg, high mileage, non-facelift. 9K sounds about right.

I agree. Looks tidy tho. 9 to 10k possibly. Mileage is much too high for me.
I'm still looking if anyone sees a low mileage 2000 facelift saloon...

No mention of cambelt replacement. Would anyone ever shell out £7,500 on an ebay auction for a car you havent seen or test driven?

I agree with you but ebay motors is a success so perhaps car enthusiasts (like us on this site) are in the minority ?

Its a good price, the mileage is a bit high, looks nice, but as said above, I havent seen it so no way would I buy blind. You can of course inspect & check out before you bid on ebay...

Just for your info really, the only car I have ever made any money on I bought from eBay and sold 3 months later for £500.00 more.....

Bid on a 500SEL got it for £1K, cleaned it inside and out, even used it for my wedding, and then sold it on for £1.5K, I was planning to 'pimp it' - bought some H7R lowering springs (sold a 50% loss on eBay...doh!) and some 18" AMG monoblocks (bought on German eBAy, sold on UK eBay for 50% profit...nice). Sold it because no-one had a spring compressor that was pwerfull enough to compress the H&R springs andthe Mercedes Garge wantedmore than the car was worth to do it... A lesson learnt - stupid idea anyway - I am nearly 30 !!!!!
