At last a way to get information on the DIS:

///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Looks great, snake game is the clincher for me.
Note that RS6 isn't listed as compatible though, would probably buy one otherwise. Wonder if those readouts can be displayed on satnav screen, a la GT-R, eventually.

You don't need that to do that, plenty of other devices that can put OBD data on your TV screen.

well for OBD,

- and one of these

and an android device are a decent option for customized OBD displays in-car

Any android device with TV out?

that can be done too - several android devices have mini HDMI on board (or other forms of video out) so you can get a video signal out of them=.

I was more thinking of that as a standalone piece of kit in the cabin though, as the appeal of OBD data just showing up on an RNS or DIS is limited for me :)

Nice not have kit cluttering the place up, though. Still, I'm not sure what information you need. Boost, maybe, but it's not terribly useful.

not a fan either tbh of lots of kit rattling round the place - just wanted to point out alternatives to the above (not that I am in any way affiliated with torque).

one nice thing is that they do a very good track day recorder plugin which lets you superimpose obd data on the video stream as you capture it which is kinda cool if you like that sort of thing
