Got a 10 plate (12000 miles) S4 last month. On the whole very happy with it, its my first auto and don't think I'd go back to a manual.
However over the last couple of weeks I've noticed what seems a common problem, noisy brakes. As soon as you get below 10 it goes from being a top quality car to sounding like a rusty old banger.
I've had a read around and found various info. For example some forums (albeit US I think) mention technical service bulliten 2027636/2. Does anyone know if there is something similar over here. If I go to the dealer will they know of the issue and have a standard fix or will they say it's just dust build up or wear and tear on the pads?

Re: Noisy brakes
Had the tsb done on my 2010 i think you will have trouble having it done considering your car has done 12k miles but i would certainly try, they take the thickness of the discs and pads into consideration.platty wrote:Got a 10 plate (12000 miles) S4 last month.
