Need a family car now
Wow lots of moaners. Started with a simple question - there's me thinking you guys were a friendly lot with sound advice.
I thought speaking to hostile Afghan Villagers was hard work - now I have changed my mind.

Were not all that bad. Just don't mention fuel economy or carbon build up and you should be fineMarkmyatt7 wrote:Wow lots of moaners. Started with a simple question - there's me thinking you guys were a friendly lot with sound advice.

Honestly it's not the fuel economy or carbon build up.
I think I put my feed across the wrong way. I apologise to you all.

Re: Need a family car now
Know what Mark means. Mine's not a daily driver, so when I sell of the other 4(!) cars blocking the drive and garage I'll be looking for a workhorse that the dogs can go in and I won't be bothered if it gets scratched. Mind you, for the holiday in Scotland this year the RS4 will be the vehicle of choice
Misano Red B7 RS4 Avant. 20" Rotors. KW adjustable spring kit. 8 & 10mm H&R spacers. MRC Stage 2 remap. Pre-cat delete & x-pipe.
Re: Need a family car now
Come on, an RS is perfect at any time of year in Scotland. I understand that you don't want to put mega miles on the RS but using it for short journeys is pointless imo.
What did you sell to buy the RS?

Maybe I should have explained it this way as this is what I meant to say.Audi Pardner wrote:Know what Mark means. I had a 2010 BMW 1 Series Coupe M Sport which I sold and then bought the RS4. You know what maybe I will take the RS4 to Scotland soon. Probably not a better car to be doing the journey in these winter weather conditions - I stand corrected.

You will know as well as me that Scotland roads are made for sports cars. You have to try even if it is just once.
