how do you rate the grip vs the RS4?

The same really, but the car feels so much more chuckable and light, its weird really, it will take some getting use to, but my initial thoughts are I like it.. which is handy when you have just spent 40k... i suppose before getting the car you can watch too many youtube vids and reviews saying its crap.... its not crap, not at all, in fact it makes me think car reviews are pretty pointless, its not a review its an opinion, and often they get it wrong don't they?

yep find the reviewers either in one camp or the other but most of them are not happy unless they can throw the back end out at every corner not the best practical test of road driving give my quattro grip every time vs lary rear wheel drive

Handling is firm and not RS4 DRC but it is a very capable point to point road car. Having not done the new car thing for quite some time I have to say the whole new car ownership and picking it up experience is extremely satisfying. Not sure it is worth the cost of depreciation on most cars when taking it off the forecourt but nice nonetheless.

I hope you continue to enjoy RS3 ownership Nick. An average 28mpg is certainly helping my cause

My average MPG over 7000miles is 26mpg and of my 100mile daily commute, 90miles is motorway.

How does the 5 pot compare sound wise fella?.

Well it's not a V8 with a Milltek non res, but it does sound good, just different, I'm getting a secondary cat bypass to try and enhance it

I think it sounds great, nothing better than giving it a bit of throttle in a built up area and hearing the whoosh of the turbo's before the growl of the exhaust with sport button on
