Just got back from this meet. Left them all to eat. Pretty good turnout. Had a nice little play on the M25 on the way there. Milltek sounds superb compared to oem :)
Current car: 2007 BMW 530d touring.

First Kent meet of 2013: Ide Hill

Post by sonny » Sun Feb 03, 2013 5:09 pm

Fantastic turnout, so well done. Its good to meet new faces as well as old ones.
Good selection of cars too, mostly B7 RS4s, R8 and 1 C6 RS6 and RS3... And not to forget the VW oil burner ;) We also clashed with a TVR meet, apparently there was 20 of them but only 4 turned up due to numerous breakdowns :biggrin3:

We was blessed with good weather too, the rain held off.

Cars of the meet was most def Nige's 800+bhp twin turbo V10 R8 and the papaya ( maybe solar?) orange RS4 Avant.

Thanks to Phil Akaa3 for a pax in his APR supercharged RS4 ;)

Its a Lambo orange.
Was painted Audi orange by the factory but the original owner didn't like it so had it redone!

Good to see all those that turned up today, lucky with the weather, actually got home with a fairly clean car

Fantastic tunnel run with DK and Scaghead on the way home, wished I'd had the GoPro fixed up!!

Enjoyed my first meet - good to put some faces to forum names, and a really interesting selection of cars turned out. Nice pub with good food too. Thanks to sonny for organising.

Good to meet all of you. It was loud scaghead but not at all in an intrusive way. Pottering you could hardly hear it. It was only when you were giving it the beans and my god it sounded BLOODY awesome :jump:
