Fresh MOT now till Jan 2014

Oem diffuser now on - looking to have carbon one repaired.

Car will go to body Shop on thurs to have a couple of minor scuffs and the drivers door ding sorted.

Car will come with:

So it looks like someone has keyed my car on both sides. Car has been filthy and having given it a good wash there is a definite line down each side. In places, applying the fingernail test, it seems it might polish out. In others the fingernail catches a bit. Will see what the body Shop has to say, but I think my next family car will be a mondeo, experience has taught me that it's just impossible having a nice car in London, parked on the street :(

So - big thanks to Brett C6NVS, we've established the following:

the 2nd hand C6 discs he has for sale have 35.5mm remaining;

mine (by an unscientific feeler test of the lip) have the same remaining perhaps a little more;

Wear limit on the discs is 34.4mm. So mine and Brett's are about 30% worn

Audi are talking total Boll@cks when they say my discs are 80% worn......

No Suprise there then!!

Hello Scott,

thanks for your interest. No I don't really want to sell but I have to really. I have had enough bad luck since placing an ad in December.

As for where we are now:

- warranty bought and paid for
- MOT and 6 months tax now on the car
- rear MTM diffuser off the car, and C6NVS loaned oem one on the car
- the rear bumper on both sides got scraped in identical places where it meets the rear arch. Had the car all booked in to my local bodyshop who I trust, only to find the bodyshop shut when I go down last thursday - seems they have sold up to make way for flats and the number i called to book in is diverted to another local bodyshop who i dont know from adam. Take the car to them and they manage to polish out the scratches where the car was lightly keyed, so that's good, but I am less than happy with the job they did on the bumper, so i am going back there tomorrow morning to bust some balls - it really boils my piss when you pay top dollar for a job and it's plainly substandard and worse than that they think you're too stupid to notice - so that's piece of bad luck number 4 (and I thought they came in threes so I am obviously onto my second set of three!)

- finally i decided that i could not sell the car with the 20 inch wheels looking as they are - so they are off to be refurbed at lepsons in audi titanium again. Put the 19s back on with michelin ps3s today in preparation for the 20s going off and i have to say the car feels really good on them... so thinking i might keep it again - but no it has to go.

To cut a long and very boring story short, but the time I have paid out on all the above I'll be lucky if I clear £31k which is not much more than a decent trade in, but 10x more hassle, AND not one person has come to see the car yet...... Its a good car, it really is.....

If you're serious scott, I am around next weekend.

Olly
