Don't expect to film at the 'ring as they've banned it. I did see a few doing it this weekend though.

I tried it on with the Mrs to let me do this trip as well but being the hen-pecked hubby I lost.

Shouldn't complain really - she let me indulge myself with driving for the last two weeks!

I wish you well particularly with the weather!!

p.s. Don't break going into Fuchsrohre. I know you don't but it seems someone did this weekend.

Anyone know of a company who will do 2 days track cover for the event and how much . My insurance company will not cover.

I belive lids are essential for Spa. Will motor cycle helmets do or is that a silly question

No extra insurance required for the Ring - its a public road.

...unless your insurance policy explicitly excludes it which some (in Germany) do.

Is there anywhere on this trip that I might be able to pick up a set of sportecs at a suitably nice price ?
(i.e. a lot less that qst or amd charge for them)

Also, is anyone interested in a professional quality digital bullet camera and mic, as used for a lot of the on-bike / car action videos ?
They normally cost around 300 quid and I've been offered a new one for 200, unused.
Any takers give me a shout.

Cheers,
John.

Andiroo,

no mate, still not showing any new pms, sorry.

I think he was going to post it on ebay. I've had a look and can't see it so it might well have gone.
I've mailed him to find out. If it hasn't I'll PM/mail you his contact details for you two to sort it out between you.
If he still has it and you want it, I could bring it to the Spa trip to save you a bit of postage, as he lives fairly local to me.

Cheers,
John.

I'll second that, and I can guarantee it from experience.
