The architrave is wood. I thought the coving was some sort of plaster but you can see joins where the long pieces meet so thinking maybe wood too. When you tap it, it sounds kinda echoey like plaster would.

You're welcome!

Yeah, I'm hoping it will look ok without lowering but I think you're right it's gonna have to hit the deck!
I'd be out in the snow now if I had those blasted spigot rings!

I looked on demon tweaks last night but all I could find was spacers. The metal set I ordered last night was posted today so with any luck they'll turn up tomorrow. If not, Saturday morning I'll be on a mission to hunt a set down. Can't be that hard to find surely?

And now I can't find the blooming VCDS cable to disable the TPMS!

Thanks Sonny, I just wanted to disable it until I had a chance to get sensors out of OEM wheels.

Well my spigot rings still havent turned up yet, so I thought 'sod it' and off I went to a wheel shop and picked up a set from them. They only had the crappy plastic ones but it means I can get the wheels on today rather than next week.
So, they're on now. Not sure what I think yet. I wondering if I might have been better off with the 20" version of the OEMs in anthracite (like my 19s).
They are well close to the wheel arch so I think they will rub. Gonna take it out in a mo to see how it rubs and make sure everything is ok and no vibrations etc.

Maybe the new wheels need to be sprayed (I really dont like light coloured wheels anymore, when I look at when my original wheels were still silver it looks yuck). Maybe I need smaller spacers (I think with 255s it wil be ok). Maybe it needs lowering. I don't know.
See what you think.

Looks nice, however I reckon darker wheels and a tad lower maybe no spacers and have the tucked look??

Rear always sits lower than front ( irrc I think its to compensate for front end compression due to engine being forward of front axle).

I like the wheels, I think it def needs to be lower.

Maybe they will need to run without the spacers fitted if catching.

Colour seems to be fine imo, that is the proper titanium colour by the looks of it (always shows up lighter in pictures).

Yes they are the proper titanium.

I might put the 8mm spacers on the back and run the front without any to see how it looks.

I'm not a fan of the RS6 wheels at all.
