Problem is its not just the police - its the damn courts who just let them off with a slapped hand.

When i was having issues with damage being done to one of my cars we had the police around - they were as fed up at the courts as the rest of us, they keep nicking the same people and the courts keep letting them go.

The sooner we get tough on justice the better.

Following on from the above, car crims' getting off scott free may also cause frustrated victims taking the law into their own hands, especially in situations like Aberdeen where it was probably the same gang that burnt out both the RS4 and B8 S4 pictured....

Very true.

My best mate is in the MET and he says the same thing, they are forever knicking the same faces only to see them out again.

Another friend is Essex traffic police and he says the same about car crime. The whole system is a joke.

Unfortunately the police now days are a joke, all they seem capable of is holding a speed camera, how often do you see the police walking the streets, unless its a community support worker and half the time their to fat to run 20 meters
