ive just ordered some eagle F1 from lovetyres,£172.23 each,alot cheaper than anywhere else.hopefully be able to get them fitted for cheap too.

Considering the the legal limit is 1.6mm I guess you may well have a further 4k left on the tyres. I that is assuming you drive the same way. 12k from a set of rubbers is not a bad!

The 4mm remaining is that on the rears? I expect those to wear quicker than the fronts.

To be honest they are pretty much wearing evenly.
2014: 8V S3, Scirocco (mistake)

I have them on another car (AM V8V). Was sceptical at first but enough people strongly recommended them that I decided to give them a go.

They are an excellent tyre (grip, and feel and noise) . Only thing I can't comment on yet is longevity as they've only been on for a couple of thousand miles
