SQ5
I'm going to stick my neck out here and say i like the look of the new SQ5
It might just tick all the boxes for me once i have had my fill of the RS6 - its fast, its got plenty of space, its fairly economical considering, it sounds good
mmm interesting
what you all think?

Re: SQ5
I think it will handle fine. My Q7 4.2tdi handled very well for a huge car. Q5 is a good bit smaller and lighter.
Not enough power for me. Will prob go for X6 50d (380bhp) when i get fed up of the RS or wait till the new RS6 comes into my price range. it looks lovely.

BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

Compared to what?
- other 4x4s or a sports car.
Looks pretty good to me.
Big initial discount available on these as well although Audi dealers wouldn't admit it.
You know that they'll be able to sell every example they manufacture.
Reckon the Bi-Turbo Tdi is a cracker as seen in the A6 Allroad.
The older I get, the more 4x4 I become.

Mmmmmm......Yup, I think so.
Doesn't really do it for me on 3 counts.
1) Like Scottie, I do boats. Unfortunately that does mean that when I get in my decent car the last thing I want to get a whiff of is diesel or it's disgusting by products. Smells like work.
2) We run a Y2K 1.9Tdi A4 Avant as a shopping/towing/doing all the local humdrum runs/hack and every time I stick juice in it I want to puke because of the price, compared to marine fuel oil (Diesel). I have to admit that it's a solid workhorse though and owning it kind of makes up for the perceived excess of having the RS4.
3) The styling fails to stir any emotion in me at all, good car or not. If I was even going to contemplate spending the shekels on a new car, taking the initial depreciation hit, it would have to be something that gives me a trouser accident every time I think about it.
Pity really because I agree. The car makes sense, will probably work very well in the real world and the engine, of it's type, is a peach.

Re: SQ5
I'm sure its a great motor. For me the diesel puts me off and the height of the thing just doesn't do it for me. I like something more sleek.F@tBoyF@t wrote:Bump - can't believe the lack of forum interest in this...is it because it's fuelled by The Devil's Brew?

The Devil's Brew is already the Top Fuel in Le Mans 24 Hours?doodlebug wrote:When diesel goes in an F1 car then diesel can go in my car....until then it is indeed the work of satan.
F1 is an irrelevance for me personally & I don't think that there's too many people on the forum who count it as their first-choice motor sport?
It has been much better of late - but how can a race be won or lost in the pit lane?
